Membership Information

The Cross Lake Band membeship is administered locally by an Indian Registration System, here the membership clerks does all the reporting and forwards the report to Indian and Northern Affairs Canada INAC. Status cards are provided to the Cross Lake Band citizens for prove of Indian status, each card contains the band number as well as the individual's photograh and treaty number. Photograghs for status cards are processed at the membership office.  The total Band membership is 8,446.
